Behind the seal
Even before the seal, my work was always about accuracy and documentation, about helping people get through processes where the details matter. Accounting, a field where I hold a Master of Science, sharpened that instinct. And mortgage processing taught me how to apply it somewhere regulated and personal at the same time.
That experience took on a new shape when two friends came to me with an idea: opening their own mortgage brokerage. They had a vision, but no mortgage experience and no licensing of their own. But their ambition was inspiring and I agreed. I took on all of the complexities of compliance and regulations for their new license, built the systems and procedures the office needed, and made sure they understood every decision along the way. The process stayed collaborative. Nothing happened around them, and nothing got handed back once it was done.
Since then, I have worked with brokers and processing teams across multiple states, each with its own structure, its own needs, its own gaps to close. Strengthening a compliance program or meeting a client for a notarization, the approach doesn't change: prepare carefully, communicate clearly, get the details right, and treat every document with the seriousness it deserves.
